Welcome to the Fall Semester!

The Harnish Law Library welcomes new and returning students for the Fall 2013 semester. We are proud to provide a wide range of student services, from research help to free coffee! Whether you need to study or relax – or both – we are here to help.

The Law Library offers flexible hours during the semester to accommodate early birds, night owls, and weekend warriors alike. You can check out anything from course reserve materials to a Playstation from the Public Services desk. For a quiet place to study with a group, reserve a library study room using your Wavenet ID and password. When exams roll around, get a leg up by downloading previous exams from our online archive. Check out our helpful guide on Using the Law Library to learn more about all the student services we offer.

If you’re writing a paper or just want to know what all those books in the library are about, the reference librarians are here to help. We are on duty seven days a week during the semester; stop in during our regular hours to ask questions or just to chat! You can also send us questions via email, chat, and text through our new LawAnswers service. Our LawAnswers page includes a series of helpful research guides that the reference librarians have prepared on a number of topics. To further assist with your research, the Law Library subscribes to a number of online databases providing access to a wide variety of legal materials.

Need ideas for things to do when you go off-campus? We can help with that too! Take advantage of our discount movie tickets service and extensive DVD/Blu-ray collection, or check out a Kindle for some lighter reading fare.

The Law Library staff looks forward to meeting you. Best of luck during the coming semester!
