May 15, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin — Pepperdine Law was named the 5th Top Law School for Practical Training in the nation by preLaw magazine. The law schools that made the Top 20 list were ranked based on experiential learning opportunities, with data from the American Bar Association (ABA) and from the individual schools. Five categories were considered: clinics, externships, simulation courses, interschool competitions, and “other,” which includes additional offerings that are not reflected in ABA data.
