Born in Chicago, Roberta moved to Los Angeles as a child and attended Beverly Hills High School followed by USC Dental School and later, Loyola Law School. She lived in Malibu, moved to Santa Monica and spent her last years in Cheviot Hills. Roberta was originally a dental hygenist before becoming a lawyer which led to a lengthy and satisfying career as a LA Superior Court Commissioner.
