As a Pepperdine Law student, you may have access to your Westlaw, Lexis, or Bloomberg Law account over the summer depending on your type of employment. Each company has different policies regarding summer use.
For more information, please contact your Westlaw, Lexis, or Bloomberg Law representative identified below.
Students can extend their passwords for summer use for the following reasons:
- Summer classses / study abroad
- Law review and journal, including write-on competitions
- Moot court
- Research assistant positions
- Unpaid internships / externships (not limited to just public interest work)
Your Westlaw representative is Melissa Hagar. Please log into Westlaw to contact Melissa directly.
Students have summer access to their Lexis accounts, but should clarify with their summer employers whether they are permitted to use their student Lexis IDs.
Your Lexis representative is Ellie Javadi (email@example.com).
Pepperdine Law students are encouraged to use their Bloomberg Law student accounts over the summer, regardless of employment type or activity. If you have not yet registered for free access, visit www.bloomberglaw.com and click on “Register for a Law School Account”. Use your pepperdine.edu email address to register and Bloomberg Law will email you your login credentials.
In addition to providing free access over the summer, Bloomberg Law also gives students free access for six months after your graduation date.
Your Bloomberg Law representative is Will Thompson (firstname.lastname@example.org).
