April 5, 2017 | By Alexa Brown — Pepperdine Law students Tyler Train and Mark Milshteyn participated in the National Basketball Negotiation Competition at Fordham Law School’s Sports Law Forum in New York City. Students from thirty-two law schools across the country competed in this competition, where students assume roles of attorneys representing NBA team owners, player agents, broadcast networks, and corporate sponsors. They participated in mock negotiations involving player-team trades, player endorsements, sponsorship deals with teams, and intra-league negotiations.
