If you’re working to build the organizational ombuds profession in your country, reap the benefits of the educational and networking opportunities available at the IOA 13th Annual Conference taking place in Richmond, Virginia, USA, April 23-25, 2018.
Depending on the number of recipients, the IOA International Outreach Committee (IOC) will award full or partial funding toward travel and accommodation to the conference and waive registration fees for the pre-conference course “Foundations of Organizational Ombudsman Practice” if the recipient has not previously taken the course.
Through this scholarship initiative, IOA provides greater access for organizational ombudsmen in regions that would greatly benefit from outreach, support, and development in the ombuds field. The scholarships are intended to sponsor members or prospective members who work in countries where the profession is under-developed, for instance, outside the United States and Canada.
