An Introduction to Federal and State Clerkships (RSVP requested)

Tuesday, August 28, 2018 | 12:30pm – 1:30pm | Mendenhall Appellate Courtroom — If you are interested in learning about federal or state clerkships, please join us for a panel featuring former federal and state court clerks, who will share their clerkship experiences, the career advantages of securing a clerkship, and strategies for clerkship applications. The panelists are:

Professor Amy Levin, former law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
Professor Derek Muller, former law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
Giacomo Gallai, JD ’03, former judicial research attorney for the Superior Court of California

Discussion will be moderated by Andrea Yang, Associate Director of Career Development, who facilitates students’ clerkship applications and works with the law school’s Faculty Clerkship Committee. As lunch will be provided, please RSVP to cdo@pepperdine.edu by Monday, August 27th at noon.
