Dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline Panel

Tuesday, February 12, 2019 | 12:30pm – 1:30pm | Classroom D — California ranks 41 out of 50 on per-student spending, but ranks 1 out of 50 in per-inmate spending. The National Lawyers Guild invites you to the School of Law on Tuesday, February 5 at 12:30 in Classroom D for Day 2 of Students Against Mass Incarceration Week. The School-to-Prison Pipeline Panel will be moderated by the National Latinx Law Students Association with the intention of informing students about the ways in which students from marginalized backgrounds are pushed out of school and into prison, demonstrating how vastly different each person’s educational experiences are depending on where they went to school and what neighborhood they grew up in.

Free lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
