Diversity Week 2018: Open Conversation

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 | 12:30pm | Lon V. Smith Atrium & Classroom E — The School of Law Council on Diversity and Inclusion invites students, faculty, staff, and administrators to our first Open Conversation of the academic year as a community. Open Conversations allow for organic discourse on pressing issues of our day, and the topic for our first Open Conversation is the ad Nike recently released featuring Colin Kaepernick. Co-facilitated by Professors Tanya Cooper and Jeff Baker, we hope to engage everyone in a thought-provoking and respectful exchange on this topic as we consider how to be global citizens in an increasingly divisive world.

Lily’s burritos will be provided.

Diversity week at Pepperdine Law is an annual series of events designed to bring together the entire community and celebrate the rich diversity that exists among our student body, faculty and staff.
