Supply Chain Transparency

Monday, January 28, 2019 | 12:30pm – 1:35pm | Classroom D — Pepperdine’s Sudreau Global Justice Program and the Palmer Center, in partnership with the Human Trafficking Institute, welcomes Annick Febrey to speak on labor trafficking, supply chain transparency, and how corporations are being held
accountable for the labor they use. Annick is the Director of Government and Corporate Relations with the Human Trafficking Institute and she works as a bridge between the Institute and the U.S. government regarding anti-trafficking policies.

Labor trafficking is an important topic for students interested in business or corporate law as they will need to help guide the organizations they work for to make sure the company complies with upcoming laws and ones that are already in place. In addition, it is important to encourage corporations to have ethical supply chains.
