Washington D.C. Externship Semester Information Session (2L/3L)

Monday, September 9, 2019 | 12:35pm – 1:25pm | Appellate Courtroom — Please join Alum Kyle Matous (JD ’12), former Chief of Staff for Congressman Pete Sessions and current lobbyist for Bono’s ONE Campaign, and Professor Nancy Hunt, Director of the DC Semester, to hear about the opportunity to work, study, and live in Washington. Kyle will talk about his externship in the DC program, his subsequent work on the Hill and at ONE, and the many externship opportunities that await students in DC. Come learn about the DC Semester, the incredible learning experience of working in our nation’s capital, and how this semester can advance your future career in Washington, California, or anywhere nationwide. Students who participated in the Washington Semester last spring will be there to answer questions.

This year will be the 10th year of the DC Semester and there will be an anniversary event during the spring semester, to which all DC-Semester alumni, all DC-area Law School alumni, and all DC-Semester students will be invited.

Professor Hunt will be on campus Sept. 9-11 and will be available to meet with students individually to discuss their externship searches. Sign up here for a 20-minute individual meeting with Prof. Hunt while she is on campus Sept. 9-11.  Meetings will take place in Prof. Boliek’s office (#338).

Lily’s burritos lunch will be provided.
