Ed Larson speaks on “An Empire of Ice” at Bowers Museum

November 7, 2017 — Professor Edward J. Larson spoke about his book, “An Empire of Ice: Scott, Shackleton, and the Heroic Age of Antarctic Science,” as part of “An Antarctic Panel” at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California.  The museum is currently featuring photographs and other artifacts of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s survival in Antarctica.
