School of Law Bids Farewell to Assistant Dean for Career Development​ Michael Hom

March 1, 2018 | After three and a half years of service to the law school, Assistant Dean for Career Development Michael Hom accepted a position with a Debevoise & Plimpton, a large law firm in New York City. Michael will direct the firm’s new Career Advising department. His final day at Pepperdine was February 23rd.

Before the end of his tenure at Pepperdine Law, Dean Hom wrote, “While I am excited to begin this new chapter of my life, I am sad to leave such a special place as Pepperdine.” The law school community will miss Dean Hom’s dedication to our students and alumni in helping them achieve their career goals and dreams.

In the meantime, Dean Selina Brandt will continue to oversee the CDO and its Associate Directors Michelle Feinstein, Smita Nowlin, and Alexis Joyce. Please reach out to any of them at should you need any assistance.
